Who we are The Rainbow Express Daycare Centre is privately operated by the Rainbow Express Daycare Society, a registered non-profit society. It was established in 1971 and has spaces for 32 children. Our director and staff work together as a team of caring, energetic, fully qualified educators. Their credentials include certification in Early Childhood Education and First Aid for Childhood Emergencies. All persons working with children are required to have a criminal record check. Our program focuses on providing a loving and nurturing atmosphere for children to learn through their play. We believe that each child is unique and we promote the optimum development of physical, intellectual, language, emotional and social skills and abilities. We provide a preschool program in a daycare setting. As a licensed facility, we meet all the requirements of the Community Care Facility Act.
